Youth Tour student orientation will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 15 at the HomeWorks Tri-County Electric Cooperative office in Portland. From there, we’ll depart for Washington, D.C. by motor coach and return to Michigan on Thursday, June 20 by airline to Chicago, and motor coach back to the co-op office in Portland (see the full Youth Tour itinerary).
You’re responsible for your own transportation arrangements to orientation, but students are NOT allowed to drive themselves for insurance and liability reasons. A parent, guardian or co-op representative can drive, or you may make carpooling arrangements with other Youth Tour families (get student contact info).
