It is hard to believe that February is almost over, because that means it is just 3 months until June and Youth Tour!
Info Form There are multiple forms to complete before Youth Tour and the first is linked below! This form is extremely important – it is the information needed for your airline ticket, hotel room and security clearances. If this information is not received by the deadline or is inaccurate, you may not be able to go on Youth Tour. This form is due by March 12.
Got Questions? The next email will be a Q&A – so send your questions my way! I’m sure you have at least one question about Youth Tour, so send it to me by Wednesday, March 4 to be included in next week’s email.
Co-op Education Information about Electric Cooperatives will be shared in preparation for the trip! Pay attention because there will be opportunities to win prizes!
Here is a short video that gives a brief overview of electric cooperatives. Electric cooperatives got their funding through the Rural Electrification Act (REA), which was part of President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal. The Rural Electrification Act allowed the federal government to make low-cost loans to rural people who had banded together to create electric cooperatives with the goal of electrifying rural America.
